How to obtain the Current Appointment Report / Company information SNAPSHOT

If you are a Director of a UK company and when you or anyone you sponsor in the UK applying or extending Visa, you must provide to the UK Visa and Immigration Services (UKVI) with a Current Appointment Report from Companies House
What is A Current Appointment Report?
A current appointment report will list the Directors of a company and the dates of their appointment. You must obtain a printout of the Current Appointment Report from the Companies House. However, recently, the name of this report has been changed to 'Company Information Snapshot'. The date of this document should be within the three months immediately before the date ofthe visa application.
The report must show your name, as named in your application form, as the Director of a business that is actively trading and not struck-off, or dissolved or in liquidation on the date that the printout was produced.
How to obtain the Company Information Snapshot?
Go to the companies register of the Companies House and click Start Now.
In the search bar, enter company name, number or officer name.
Once you find your company in the list, click on the company name and you will be redirected to the company information page.
On the company information page, you will see four tabs under the company name. Click More tab, as shown below:
The first section under the More tab shows the Company Snapshot and a button View Company Information Snapshot as shown below:
Once you click View company information snapshot button, you will be asked to sign in using your Companies House login details. If you do not have the Companies House account, you can register to create an account and then use the credentials to log in.
Bear in mind that the Companies House account is not the same as your Webfiling account.
Once you have logged in, the Company Information Snapshot report will be downloaded in the pdf format.
